Intro to Bikepacking with Jen Colestock and Devin Cowens

Join us for an informal, beginner-friendly introduction to bikepacking! We'll go over some of the basics of bikes, gear, and routes, plus have time for Q+A.

Jen Colestock (aka Coleslaw, @jen_coleslaw) is a Customer Support representative with Wahoo Fitness in Atlanta, GA, a company that produces indoor smart trainers, sensors, and cycling computers.In her free time, Jen is an ultra-distance cyclist, route planner, bike mechanic, and events organizer. Jen has gone on many solo bikepacking trips around the Southeast and has raced a number of bikepacking and gravel races, such as the Huracan, the Delta Epic, and a 2017 attempt at the Transam Bike Race.

Devin (@dev_rox) is an Event Specialist with the East Coast Greenway Alliance, a non-profit that leads the development of a trail network that stretches 3,000 miles from Maine to Florida. In her free time, Devin is an advocate and organizer for black, indigenous, and people of color (BIPOC) who identify as women, femme, trans, and non-binary (WTF NB) in biking + bikepacking. She has traveled and planned a number of personal bikepacking trips, and manages WTF Bikexplorers ATL (@wtfbikexplorersatl), a community for WTF NB riders of all experience and fitness levels in Atlanta and the Southeast.
